FEATURE 01
AI-Generated Personal Proficiency Plan
Every candidate who completes a test receives a personalised development plan; automatically generated from their results. It doesn't tell them to "learn the software." It shows them exactly which skills they're weak in and gives them specific resources to fix each one.
The plan looks at every area the candidate scored low in, then maps each gap to hand-picked training materials from verified providers. No generic course recommendations. No broken links. Just the content they actually need, in the right order.
Resources are jurisdiction-aware. An Australian accountant gets ATO-specific compliance training. The plan reflects how the software is actually used where the candidate works.
For employers: the personal proficiency plan (PPP) transforms the assessment from a hiring filter into a development tool. You know exactly what training a new hire needs before they start.
For candidates: you walk away with a clear roadmap regardless of the hiring outcome. The test is valuable even if you don't get the job.

FEATURE 02
Employee Value Calculator
The Value Calculator turns a proficiency report into a financial input. It takes the candidate's skill-by-skill breakdown, the estimated hours to close each gap, and your hourly training rate, then gives you a single number: the total investment required to bring this person to full proficiency.
This means you're not just comparing candidates on who scored higher. You're comparing them on who will cost less to get up to speed. A candidate who scored 70% but has concentrated gaps in one area might be a cheaper hire than someone who scored 75% with gaps spread across five areas.
Enter your organisation's hourly training rate, and the calculator does the rest. You see estimated upskilling hours, the total dollar cost, and which specific areas drive that cost.
Available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
FEATURE 03
Tests designed by industry experts
Every TestInvest assessment is written and reviewed by certified subject matter experts who use the software professionally. Not AI-generated. Not scraped from documentation. Built from real workflows by people who know what proficiency actually looks like in practice.
Questions are scenario-based. Candidates don't answer "what does this button do?" Instead, they're placed in realistic situations and asked to make the right decision. The kind of decisions they'd face on day one of the job.
Each test covers multiple skill areas within the software, so the results don't just tell you they know a software package. They tell you they're strong in certain functions but weak in others, with a skill-by-skill breakdown across every function the software covers.

FEATURE 04
Built to prevent cheating
A proficiency score is only useful if it's trustworthy. TestInvest assessments run through multiple layers of anti-cheating technology designed to ensure every result reflects real, unassisted capability.
Questions are delivered in a randomised order so no two candidates see the same sequence. Answer timing is tracked, so suspiciously fast or slow responses are flagged. If a candidate leaves the test tab or switches to another window, the system logs it. Pasting text into answer fields is blocked entirely.
Behind the scenes, the platform uses randomised token exchange between the server and browser. This prevents anyone from manually submitting answers to the server or using automated software to complete the test on their behalf.
The result: when a report says someone scored 85%, you can trust that number.
FEATURE 05
Talent Pool
Every candidate who completes a TestInvest assessment and opts in becomes part of a searchable talent pool. Employers and recruiters can search by software platform, proficiency level, industry, and role type; and find candidates who have already proven their skills.
Instead of posting a job ad, screening 50 resumes, and hoping someone can actually use a software package, you search the Talent Pool and find people who've already been tested.
For candidates, opting into the Talent Pool means your verified results work for you even when you're not actively applying. Employers find you based on what you can do, not what your resume claims.
Available on Pro and Enterprise plans.
